A LIBRARY IN EVERY SCHOOL
Background
Start a Library Trust (SAL) was established as an employee passion initiative for Storymoja Publishers in 2012. It is now a registered non-profit organization with a vision that, one day, every learner will have the literacy and life skills to transform Africa.
SAL is on a mission to champion literacy in Africa by creating thriving communities of learners, teachers and parents through vibrant libraries, training for sustainable development, and advocacy.
SAL’s programmes are anchored on Sustainable Development Goal 4, which aims to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.
